In casa lo chiamiamo “Tatone” perché è affettuoso e socievole anche se, all'occorrenza, sa mostrare tutta la sua grinta. E' molto ubbidiente ma si risente quando pensa di essere richiamato o rimproverato ingiustamente.
Nickname "Tatone", a "sentence" we use to define someone who is sweet, calm, affettuoso, because this is what he is even if he can show his grinta when it is necessary. He's very obedient and he gets risentito when he considers the rimprovero is ingiusto.
He spent his first year with some friends as other schnauzers we have in a sort of co-ownership but the family split and Danny came back suffering the separation and missing his Bonnie best friend, our friends' child Andrea. At that moment we had a few males, two puppies he had sired and Sir, the old "patriarch". We had decided to keep one of his puppies, Edwin, (by the way my husband is a strange breeder, he's fond of males and would like to have several males....), while his broither was waiting for his new family to come back from a journey. Danny "made friends" with this puppy, I still remember them running (scorazzare) in my flower beds, jumping among the azaleas to catapultarsi into the lower part of our garden. When the pup joined his new family Danny missed him much, he had lost another friend in such a short time and for a while he seemsed very sad.
Come altri dei nostri schnauzer ha trascorso il primo anno di vita fuori dalla nostra casa. Viveva non lontano da noi, affidato ad una famiglia che dopo un anno o poco più è stata costretta a privarsene, così Danny è ritornato da noi soffrendo sicuramente per la separazione, principalmente dal bambino di casa, Andrea, che era diventato il suo migliore amico.
Noi avevamo ancora due dei suoi giovani figli oltre a Sir, il patriarca della famiglia a quattro zampe. Avevamo scelto uno dei cuccioli, Edwin, per sostituire Sir quando, purtroppo, ci avrebbe lasciati, mentre il fratellino era ancora con noi nell’attesa che la sua nuova famiglia rientrasse da un viaggio per iniziare la sua vita con loro. Danny legò molto con quest’ultimo, li ricordo ancora (con terrore) scorrazzare fra le mie aiuole e saltare fra le azalee per catapultarsi nella parte bassa del giardino. Quando il cucciolo andò via, Danny ne sentì sicuramente la mancanza, in breve tempo aveva perso un altro amico e per un po’ sembrò molto triste.
E’ il papà di molti schnauzer. Da noi ha fatto un’unica cucciolata, molto bella, con Nenè e si è rivelato un ottimo riproduttore visto che anche con le altre femmine ha dato sempre molto bene.
He sired many schnauzers, just a litter, but a beautiful one, of "Folletti Grigi". I told several times that we'd be proud of seeing a lot of "Folletti Grigi" calcare the most important rings but what is really important is to give our puppies to serious families disposed to love them.
Purtroppo soltanto uno dei suoi figli finora è andato ad esposizioni, è Mighty Max Coenobium, che ha fatto un’eccellente carriera ottenendo una quindicina di titoli, ma quello che conta è che, anche lui, è un bravo cane, affidabile.
One of Danny Boy's produzione, however, was showed and got a good number of titles, but the most important thing is that he's a good, affidabile dog, in love with his "dad" who's in love with him, his name is Mighty Max Ceoenbium.
...le favole esistono, eccome, Danny di certo lo confermerebbe! Dopo tanto tempo trascorso con noi ha riacquistato la famiglia con cui aveva trascorso il suo primo anno, Andrea è un giovanotto ormai, non faranno più "baldoria" assieme come quando erano entrambi "bambini", il loro è un rapporto più maturo e tranquillo, solo Bonnie non c'è più, sostituita, ma non nel cuore dei suoi proprietari, da una piccola peste....

We weren't sure he would ambientarsi again but after a couple of days he did and he's certainly happier than here, Edoardo takes him out much, he can run in the fields, Andrea is a young man now, they won't far baldoria together as when they were both "children", theyrs is a mature and quiet rapporto, only Bonnie Lass isn't thre ant more Manca, but there is a "piccola peste", Jingle.....
